Mr. Mohassessi has more than 15 years of experience in the health care industry, both as a consultant and an executive. Most recently he served as vice president of pricing and underwriting for Health Net. During his tenure at Health Net, Mr. Mohassessi participated in development and implementation of a strategy, which resulted in a financial turn around in Arizona. Prior to joining Health Net, Mr. Mohassessi was responsible for underwriting operations at PacifiCare and participated in the development and launch of PPO and ASO plans. Through these initiatives, PacifiCare enjoyed the most profitable health plan status in Arizona. Mr. Mohassessi’s professional experience also includes serving as the vice president and actuary for Transamerica Reinsurance where he oversaw the financials of reinsured blocks of business. Among his consulting assignments were the evaluation of a hospital network and the preparation of Medicaid coverage RFP response for 16,000 eligibles. During his career, Mr. Mohassessi has developed extensive experience in provider network evaluation, financial analysis and forecasting, pricing and underwriting, product management and business development.

Mr. Mohassessi is a graduate of Indiana University. He has received his credentials from Council of Consulting Actuaries, Society of Actuaries and American Academy of Actuaries. His personal interests include, golfing, hiking and reading fiction
