Mr. Cohen is a senior financial executive,
with more than 25 years of experience of
strategically focused, results oriented
financial executive with proven leadership and
mentoring skills. He has extensive experience
with for-profit, not-for profit, managed care,
teaching medical center, in both regional
multi-entity and single operating organizations.
His expertise includes all corporate financial
functions, including rating agency presentations
and cash management with strong merger and
acquisition experience, and negotiation skills
and a consistent record of successful financial
and operational management.
Eight (8) years ago, Mr. Cohen became an
independent consultant offering his considerable
experience to clients to manage their revenue
cycles, improving their systems and cash flows,
and as an interim CFO for several health care
systems. He also has lead the financial analysis
and due diligence effort for mergers and
acquisitions.
Mr. Cohen’s prior experience includes numerous
Vice President and CFO positions with large
health care systems in general, specialty and
tertiary medical centers/systems as well as with
the (then) big eight CPA firms.
