Mr. D'Hoostelaere has over 25 years of experience in marketing, strategic planning and business development, the past 15 of which have been in the Health Care Industry at the Vice President and consulting Principal level working with hospitals, physicians and managed care insurance organizations.
His strengths include general management, vision and leadership, financial planning and analysis, and business plan execution. He is experienced in start-up, reorganization and rapid expansion business environments. His consulting career has focused on projects that involve relationship building between organizations. He is an accomplished speaker; able to present to most audiences including corporate boards, management teams and seminar attendees.
Mr. D'Hoostelaere has managed projects to develop and implement physician-hospital integration strategies and is skilled in resolving their diverse delivery system issues. He has also developed a number of provider sponsored health care plans, bringing together providers, insurance carriers, TPAs and agents to create successful product delivery systems.
Recent engagements include: managing a two-year HMO development project; acting as the Executive Director for two health insurance liquidations; performing as Due Diligence team leader for an HMO seeking to purchase a health plan, and; conducting an operational assessment of and preparing a turn-around plan for another HMO.
Mr. D'Hoostelaere holds a B.S. in management from Jacksonville University and an MBA in marketing from the Harvard Graduate School of Business. His outside interests include scouting leadership, hiking, camping, golf and volunteer work.
