Joseph (Joe) Fuchs
 

Mr. Fuchs has extensive experience in the development and implementation of information systems. He began his professional career in the banking industry where he held numerous technical and managerial positions over a period of more than 20 years, most of which was with the Federal Reserve Banks in New York and San Francisco.

Twelve years ago, Mr. Fuchs brought his extensive technology experience gained in banking to the health care industry when he accepted a senior management position at Stanford University Medical Center.

He now serves as a consultant to the health care industry with an emphasis on transitional management, project definition and assessment, and management of complex projects. In that capacity he has completed numerous engagements in medical center and managed care organizations with an extremely high degree of client satisfaction. His most recent accomplishment was managing a large HIPAA implementation.

Academically, he holds an undergraduate degree in mathematics, a Masters equivalent in mathematics and education, and is Certified in Healthcare Privacy by the American Health Information Management Association. His personal interests include swimming, softball and golf.
