Ms. Wilkins has more than 25 years experience in business strategy, process optimization and healthcare information technology including 12 years serving as or advising senior executives.  She began working in Medicare Systems in the 1980’s, bidding new contracts and implementing additional systems. She has remained active in government healthcare initiatives through the years.

As the Internet technology expanded, Dea specialized in developing new business strategies to address new opportunities. She optimized existing business processes for her clients by applying web technologies, improving costs and data availability for enrollment, network expansion, and customer service. Dea also led the implementation of Medicare Part D systems for a major national provider.

Most recently, Dea has contributed to the development of a commercial EMR system. She advises on selection and implementation of EMR systems, focusing on architecture and interfaces to existing medical systems. She is also developing applications for mobile platforms.

Ms. Wilkins holds a BS in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology and an MBA in Finance from Duke.
